Embrilliant Things I Ponder

Hello Everyone,

Big News is coming soon! I think about this a lot and it is distracting. My family wonders where my mind is sometimes. I can be ‘at work’ while at breakfast. My wife is used to it, and I try to be present as much as possible, but right now it is difficult.

We are moving forward in many ways here at BriTon Leap: Last week we moved into a new office. I can’t believe 3 years passed at the last one. While it was a great location, it was a bit of a cave, so now we’re in some better digs. Lots of light and several windows that actually open!

And we’re about to release the main Embrilliance product. This will be for both Mac and Windows. I have some decisions to make with regard to it; Name, Price and Features.

Embrilliance Support

Hi, Having gotten a few emails, we should let everyone know that there are a couple ways to get support for the Embrilliance Thumbnailer:

1.) We have a contact form on this page at www.Embrilliance.com.

2.) We have started a forum for Embrilliance. This will be the home for support and discussion.

Either way, problems and questions are answered most days of the week.

Microsoft is Killing my Productivity – part 3

More? Yes more.

Vista and the UAC thing. No I’m not going to complain about what you think. I don’t mind a mode that asks me if I really clicked that button. I can turn it off, which I’ve naturally done. No the thing is that Microsoft has no brain in their organization, and if they do, that person is locked away somewhere. Continue Reading…

I have repeatedly tried this Vista thing. And I’ve decided to warn you all about it. This is my fourth Un-Install of Vista. So let me start with what’s going on: It is S-L-O-W. Continue Reading…

Microsoft Software is Killing My Productivity – Part 1

I have never seen a company implode as fast as Microsoft seems to be doing. I am a long-time user of many of their products, and I have to say how disappointed I am. Worse, I cannot get away from them because I make products for you, who mostly use their operating systems.

So let me complain about some specifics: Continue Reading…
